OUR MISSION
St Francis Care Centre provides hospice and palliative care to for persons suffering from threatening and/or life limiting conditions where they will be cared for in a professional and comfortable environment whilst their physical, spiritual, emotional and social needs are catered for with care and dedication.
CONCLUSION
The St Francis Centre is extremely dependant on financial support from donors to continue rendering its services. Any financial support will be most welcome and will be officially acknowledged.

The St Francis Care Centre is a registered Non-Profit organization and is extremely dependant on donations from the public and corporate sectors to continue rendering our services.
Father stan brennan ofm a franciscan priest, founded st francis care centre in 1992
He was deeply affected by the neglect and ostracisation of people affected or infected with HIV/AIDS whilst visiting homes and hospitals in the 1980’s. Many were neglected by their families and friends and were dying alone and destitute. A haven was founded where these people could be cared for with love, warmth and compassion. In addition a children’s section was opened which provides residential care to children aged 0-7 years who are infected and/or affected (eg. Orphaned or abandoned) by Hiv/Aids.

Palliative care
Palliative Care is offered to patients suffering from all life threatening and life limiting conditions in a peaceful and loving environment. Respite care is also offered to families who are living with, or taking care of an ill person. Perhaps you need a short rest period or holiday- we can take care of your loved one.
